Privacy Policy

How ECO INK handles information when you browse, contact us or place an order.

Draft prepared: 20 October 2026 · Policy operator: Eco ink books

1. Who operates this website

This website is presented under the ECO INK Books & Publishing brand and business name Eco ink books, located at Kosamattam Towers, near Nagampadam, Nagampadam Round, Kottayam, Kerala 686001, India. Customer support: ecoinkpublications@gmail.com and +91 9656624117.

2. Information we collect

When the live store is enabled, we may collect your name, email, phone number, delivery and billing address, books ordered, transaction reference, customer-service communications and basic technical information needed to operate and secure the site. We collect information provided by you and technical information from site operation, where applicable.

Current demo: This sample website stores only a local shopping-cart selection in your browser using localStorage. The demo contact form does not transmit or save enquiry data.

3. How information is used

  • Process, confirm and fulfil genuine orders, and provide delivery updates.
  • Respond to support requests, returns and refund enquiries.
  • Maintain necessary business, accounting and regulatory records.
  • Maintain website security, prevent fraud and improve user experience.
  • Send optional marketing messages only where appropriate consent has been obtained.

4. Payments and processors

When live payments are activated, a payment-service provider such as Razorpay may handle payment processing under its own terms and privacy practices. ECO INK should not store full card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs or other sensitive payment credentials. The present demo does not accept payments or connect to Razorpay.

5. Sharing personal information

Where necessary to provide services, information may be shared with payment processors, shipping partners, hosting and technology service providers, and authorities when legally required. Personal information is not sold as part of the proposed operating model. Replace this statement if your actual data practices differ.

6. Retention and security

Personal information will be kept only as long as necessary for legitimate operational, tax, legal and dispute-resolution purposes. Reasonable technical and organisational measures should protect information. Internet transmission is never completely risk-free.

7. Cookies and browser storage

The demo uses browser localStorage to remember example cart items. A live website may use essential session cookies and optional analytics or marketing tools; you must identify those technologies accurately and offer any required consent choices before launch.

8. Your choices and privacy requests

For privacy access, correction, deletion or complaint requests, email ecoinkpublications@gmail.com. The grievance officer is Bibin, available at +91 9656624117 during support hours Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–9:00 PM (IST). We will review requests in accordance with applicable law and lawful retention requirements.

9. Children

This online store is intended for purchases by adults, or by minors through a parent or legal guardian. We do not intentionally seek payment details directly from children.

10. Changes and contact

Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. For any privacy questions, see our Contact Us page.
