1. Acceptance and business information
These terms govern your use of ECO INK Books & Publishing, operated by Eco ink books at Kosamattam Towers, near Nagampadam, Nagampadam Round, Kottayam, Kerala 686001, India. Please review these terms before making a purchase. By placing an actual order after the shop goes live, you agree to these terms subject to applicable consumer law.
2. Products and descriptions
We intend to offer physical printed books. Product listings should state title, author, language, format, quantity availability, final pricing and other relevant details. Illustrations and colours may vary slightly from physical copies. The titles currently shown are fictional sample content, not live products.
3. Prices, taxes and charges
All displayed product prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). Our stated shipping charge is ₹60 per order to serviceable Indian addresses. Applicable taxes (if any), shipping and the order total will be shown before order confirmation when the store becomes operational. No hidden fees should be added after a customer authorises a payment. We may correct genuine pricing errors before accepting an order, informing the customer where required.
4. Order acceptance and fulfilment
An order should be considered accepted after successful payment confirmation (for prepaid orders) and the merchant's confirmation, subject to availability and fraud checks. An order acknowledgement alone does not guarantee dispatch. If an accepted order cannot be fulfilled, we will contact the customer regarding an alternative or applicable refund.
5. Payment methods
Available payment methods will be shown at the live checkout when enabled. Digital payments may be provided through regulated third-party payment providers. This demonstration checkout does not take payments or create actual orders. Cash on delivery, if ever offered, must be explicitly shown during checkout.
6. Shipping, delivery and risk
The proposed domestic shipping fee is ₹60 per order, with 1–2 working days for processing and an estimated 3–7 working days in transit after dispatch for most serviceable Indian destinations. Delivery coverage must be checked before payment. Exact delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. Refer to the Shipping & Delivery Policy for details.
7. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Request cancellation before dispatch. Report an incorrect, damaged or defective book within 7 calendar days of delivery. Approved refunds are proposed to be initiated within 5–7 working days after verification, followed by any additional bank processing period. See Cancellation & Refund Policy for detailed conditions; statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
8. Customer obligations
Customers should provide accurate order and contact details, use the site lawfully and not attempt unauthorised access, fraud or interference with the website.
9. Intellectual property
Our original website design, brand content and listings may be protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Book cover art and author content remain with their respective rights holders.
10. Liability and applicable law
We seek to provide accurate information and reliable service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Indian law or restricts mandatory customer rights. The parties' rights and remedies are subject to applicable laws of India.
